Secure Online Mediation

In addition to providing in-person mediation it is increasing common practice to conduct mediation using secure online mediation platforms. We use Zoom Pro, which is highly effective and flexible when parties are based in different cities or countries.

Mediation for cross-border disputes

It is increasingly common for UK companies to conduct business internationally and enter into contracts and commercial arrangements on a transnational basis. Disputes happen and when they do, legal costs can quick escalate, especially in cross-border, multi-jurisdictional disputes. Mediation can offer a more flexible, cost-effective forum for resolving disputes of this type and is often a mandated direction by the courts as a form of alternative dispute resolution, as well as forming an integral part of pre-action protocols within the Civil Procedure Rules.

Our lead mediator, Nick Cheshire, is a qualified mediator with the International Mediation Institute as well as being an experienced CMC registered mediator with more than 20 years experience across the commercial and legal sectors.
